Awesome hotel. Free laptops setup for internet in the lobby. Free wifi in the lobby. Very contemporary hotel and very clean throughout (including rooms). About a 7-10 minute walk from the metro line. About 60 second walk from the beach. Didn't have a beach view but the back of the hotel has a nice courtyard area that provided a nice view. AC was great in the room but nonexistent in the hallways and stairwells. Very friendly staff with very good english. Free bag check behind the front desk. Nice restaurants about a block away. CNNi in english on tvs. Minifridge in room. Gorgeous bathroom. Full king bed! Would definitely stay here again.

we were very impressed with the quality of the hotel for the price we paid. Staff was helpful. we ate in the small bar area and had good food and a nice glass of wine. this was a short stay, but after the long plane trip it was lovely.

Modern Hotel thats definately worth considering espcecially if you can get a bargain price. Rooms are very nice, although 2xsingle beds wasn't great for a couple. Bar was Ok, quite expensive and recpetion staff were average. Rooms were clean, and well maintained. Rooms without a view haven't much to see! =

Good Hotel. Very Clean! It has a beautiful Sea-view. A little far from the city centre. About 8 stops on the Metro.

Your review stated rooms offered views of the sea or the mountains. Ours on second level offered only a view of the flat adjacent to our building. The hotel would not change the location of our room, and we were very disappointed with the room's location. Bulbs were out in our bathroom and were not replaced, upon request. Hotel was very out-of-the-way.

Very Good Hotel Very Good Price

Very nice place with a clean modern look. We had excellent views across the beaches. Rooms were nice and clean and bathrooms were well presented. Bed was huge and very comfy. We did'nt eat or drink in but the menu's looked good and the bar was like everything else modern and attractive.

very reasonable price for excellent quality but would choose hotel in the centre next time. Long walk to port Olympic- ok for us as weather was beautiful but not good if raining or very hot. good restaurants in Port Olympic also in Centre but find a small restaurant off the main street- menu of the day very good value. 20 mins walk to nearest metro stop from hotel.

we had a room-only package, and were very impressed with the quality of the service. the room was spacious and clean, with comfy furniture and a fabulous bathroom. we didn't try the breakfast or restaurant, because they looked a bit pricey. there are various local cafes etc nearby though. the gym is open from 7am-11pm and was clean and peaceful. the hotel is in poble nou, looking onto the beach. we enjoyed the peace and quiet, but there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel, which takes you onto la rambla.

The location is very good. Very comfortable room with a fantastic seaview. Good service, too.

10min walk from the CCIB conference centre means it is convenient for conference goers Free internet in their cafe is useful,but wifi a bit pricey. Bit parsimonious on their ironing board! Just the right side of average.

The major problem we had was that the hotel is just too far from all of the tourist activities unless you want to spend time on the beach. Otherwise, the staff was helpful and the hotel was pretty nice.

We were impressed with the cleanlines of the hotel and the price. The bed was a bit hard but overall we were very comfortable. They also had a great breakfast even though it is not continental. We would stay there again.

Nice location close to the beach, nice reception area and excellent restaurant, but the corridor outside the room looked shabby, and there was this strange smell in the bathroom.

We found the hotel to be immaculate. I was expecting a tiny gym and was surprised at how large the gym was with good equipment, spacious changing area and a small jacuzzi, dry room and steam room. The hotel is just up from the beach, a 6-7 minute walk to a shopping centre and metro. A no. 41 bus stops outside the hotel and takes you to the Playa De Catalunia in the centre or the metro is approx 7 stops to the same place. Our room was cleaned every day and we were provided with clean towels and replenished with toiletries. The hotel bar has a good atmosphere and the prices were good. There is also a gorgeous piano bar just along from the hotel. Overall the hotel and staff were superb.

Was good value for the money I spent and was very close to the gay beach. Not a good choice if you plan on spending most of your time in Barcelona as it is a bit of a hike from the centre, but it?s only about a ?10 to ?12 cab ride in. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to spend the day on the beach. The room was clean, and the room service was good. You should call ahead and request a sea view room as it is very difficult to get one once you are there.

We didn't expect much of this hotel given it was so cheap, but we were very nicely suprised! It was very well fitted out, modern, clean and with a safe! It is opposite a lovely beach and the bus stops out the front of the hotel, taking you into the city centre in about 15 minutes. The hotel is not in the city centre, but ease of transport and the quality of the hotel for the price make it the best option i think for Barcelona! Also, there is free internet in the lobby!

Good location if you want a hotel near the beach and near the bus stop but the service is poor.the staff is not friendly.

I booked this hotel for 2 reasons: everything in the city was booked and the reviews for this hotel were great. I was not disappointed. The rooms are large (by european standards) and comfortable, and its just a 5 minute walk to the beach. I have also found that many hotels will upgrade you for free if you ask them the right way. So I was upgraded to a top floor ocean view room for no extra charge. The downstairs cafe/bar was very convenient, and has free internet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and many of them spoke english well. Overall, I was very happy with this hotel and it was a great deal.

We really enjoyed our four days at Barcelo Hotel Atenea Mar. Close to the beach with sidewalk to the city. Upscale Mall a short distance with good food court. Bus outside the door connecting to everywhere. Clean Hotel

Great room for the money.

This is a very clean and modern hotel. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The only con to this hotel is its location. It is a little bit on the outside of the downtown Barcelona. It is not possible to walk to any of the major sights. But all in all worth it.

Hotellet var super. Det var pænt og rent. Morgenmaden var fin men måske lidt dyr (10 euro). Der kører en bus næsten udenfor (nr. 41). Den kører til modsatte ende af La Rampla hvor der er forbindelse til stort set resten af Barcelona. Overfor hotellet er der en dejlig strand så man har muligehed for afslapning når vejret tillader det. Der er også et par fortovsrestauranter nær hotellet og et par på stranden.

Trevligt modernt hotell med hjälpsam personal. Jag kommer definitivt att bo här fler gånger

Rigtig rigtig lækkert hotel Max 5 min. til stranden 10 min til Barcelonas storste shopingcenter med masser af resturanter og ca 30 min til centrum

SUper lækkert, rent, venligt og meget fedt designet hotel.. Der var alt hvad vi havde brug for og personalet var søde og venlige. Super store senge:) Og lækre badeværelser. Ikke mindst fantastisk udsigt og beliggenhed

je déplore que le parking soit payant pour réservation de plus de 48h+voiture devalisée à côté de l'hôtel+jour du départ receptionniste me préparait une note de frais pour parking(1 semaine) alors que je n'avais pas utilisé ce service?

Vi tycker att detta hotell verkligen var som förväntat. Nära till stranden och bara en kort resa till stadspulsen med lokalbussen som stannade precis utanför. Rummen är fina och välstädade, samt har det man behöver. Det finns bara en nackdel egentligen. Det är att vi bodde på våning 11 av 12 och man stördes av bilvägen utanför. Hade man bott lägre så hade ljudet sannorlikt inte hörts på samma sätt . En erfarenhet rikare. Frukosten får högt betyg , mycket att välja på och gott, fattades inget. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell.

Så nära stranden du kan bo. Riktigt lugnt och trevligt läge med närliggande restauranger. Fräscht rum och superfint badrum. Bra service och städning. En dag tappade vi ut en glasflaska på marmorgolvet i "hallen" , flaskan gick i tusen bitar. Ringde direkt till receptionen som skickade en städerska på en gång. 5 minuter senare fanns inte ett spår av vare sig glas eller spillen vodka. ;) Hotellets restaurang var riktigt prisvärd och maten hade bra kvalitet. Ska man åka på en badresa till Barcelona och vill ha nära till kommunikationer (tunnelbana/buss) för att kunna ta sig in till de centralare delarna är detta hotell utmärkt. EN liten varning för hotellets datorer i lobbyn, det är inte alltid hastigheten på internet är okej (20 min för att ladda en sida vid vissa tillfällen), så räkna inte med att kunna använda dessa. Morgontimmarna gick det snabbare än på kvällarna av någon anledning.

Jeg havde bestilt et De luxe værelse med havudsigt og fik et værelse på siden af hotellet med rimelig skrå havudsigt. Det var ikke det jeg havde bestilt, så det var rimelig skuffende. Hotellet er ellers af god standard, så hvis man får hvad man betaler for er det et udmærket hotel

Abbiamo trascorso in questo albergo 3 notti durante le vacanze di Pasqua. Siamo arrivati molto presto la mattina, ma ci hanno immediatamente accolti per il check in e ci hanno dato una camera al decimo piano con vista mare, decisamente spaziosa e impeccabilmente pulita. La struttura è decisamente accogliente, con design moderno, il bar ha prezzi competitivi, cosa che non si può dire della colazione, che viene a costare più o meno quanto un pranzo. Il centro fitness offre attrezzi, sauna, bagno turco e un idromassaggio: piccolo, ma pulito e mai affollato. Per raggiungere il centro (Placa Catalunya) si può prendere il bus 41 che ferma proprio davanti all'hotel e occorrono circa 15 minuti se non c'è traffico, oppure raggiungere la fermata della metro (Poblenou) in circa 10 minuti. Sempre accanto all''hotel si ferma anche il bus turistico (fermata forum). Nelle vicinanze c'è il centro commerciale Diagonal Mar, con numerose possibilità di cenare e un grande supermercato.

La tempête à Barcelone à forcer l'hotel à fermer les étages supérieur. Résultat: on a eu froid, le dimanche matin, réveillés à 8h par le laveur de carreau, et le lundi même heure par un marteau piqueur...

SUL MARE IMMEDIATAMENTE VICINO AL CENTRO STORICO CI SI ARRIVA CON UN SOLO AUTOBUS IL N. 41 CHE RESTA ANCHE COMODO ARRIVANDO ALLA STAZIONE NORD ARCO DI TRIOMFO DA GIRONA.

Fra man træder ind af hovedindgangen første gang til man forlader stedet er man bare fortryllet. Har kun positive minder herfra!

Nous étions à Barcelone pour le week-end dans le but de découvrir la ville et avons dormis deux nuits dans cet hôtel. La chambre avait une superbe vue face à la mer ainsi qu' un lit gigantesque. Pas de bruits durant la nuit. Petits défaut à noter, la climatisation ne semblait pas fonctionner quand nous actionnions le variateur, cependant la température était correcte. N'hésitez pas à dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel, très bon. J'ai commandé un verre de vin ils m'ont offert une bouteille (entamée certes) d'un cru 2003 excellent. De même le petit déjeuner peut paraître cher mais le choix et la qualité du buffet est au rendez-vous. Nous avons également utilisé le parking (15€/nuit). L'hôtel est loin du centre-ville mais un arrêt de bus se trouve à proximité (demandez un plan du réseau à l'office du tourisme pour vos déplacements dans Barcelone).

Aircondition på rommet fungerte ikke og det ble veldig varmt. Det eble påpekt, men ikke rettet på. Jeg reiste i følge med andre og de hadde også det samme problemet.

Läget är perfekt både för en "badsemester" och en mer "kulturell" inriktad semester. Stranden är härlig på endast 2 min avstånd och busshållsplats direkt utanför hotellet som för en direkt till La Rambla på 20 min.

Het enige wat iets tegenviel, was dat de bar erg ongezellig en saai was. Prima hotel om te overnachten, vertier moet je ergens anders zoeken.

Fint å være litt utenfor selve storbyen. Fredelig med strandpromenade, joggemuligheter, sykling og kort gå eller bussavstand til La Rambla.

lhotel est propre et bien situe par rapport a la plage ( juste en face) par contre petit inconvenient il est legerement excentré du centre ville meme donc pour les jeunes qui veulent sortir le soir , il faut prendre le bus ou metro , quil faut aussi prendre pour visiter la ville et les sites culturels. en resume bon confort et acces direct plage mais au calme des animations
