Good location but very noisy as it's on a busy road. It's geared up for business users who can put the 17.5 euro breakfast on expenses! Budapest itself is a busy, dirty city with little to recommend. Maybe it used to be cheap but not anymore. They now charge western prices but don't have the same quality of goods or services.

My colleague and I looked at the special offers for the hotel and were blown away. The outside is nice, the lobby and reception room are really nice. But the rooms are nothing like the pictures. We looked at 5 rooms in total after complaining on the first night. Every one had carpet stains, 'grey' towels etc. Front desk had great English skills and were very helpful... But do NOT consume anything at the hotel!! £11 for a Vodka and coke, £15 for a few slices of toast at breakfast. The hotel is opposite a supermarket which is handy, and a McDonalds round the corner, but everything else is a 3000 forint taxi ride away (£9). This was my 5th trip to Budapest, I'll be staying more central next time. Very very very poor value.

We spent a long weekend in Budapest and this hotel was ideal. Its located 30secs from a metro station and is a 10-15min walk from the centre of Pest. Its very clean and deserving of its star rating and the staff were very helpful. The only negative points were that the room was a bit too warm and the breakfast isn't great value compared with what is on offer at the many cafes and restuarants in the centre of Pest.

This hotel was great. Modern, with all the conveniences, such as room service, but near all the major sites. Very friendly and accommodating staff. My only surprise was having to pay for internet in the room. I should have read the fine print more carefully. There is a public computer in the lobby, but I was looking forward to free wifi in the room.

Could not have been better, didn't like Budapest all that much but this Hotel was its saving grace.

Perfect location, right in the center of the city and near most of the popular tourist spots. I would definitely stay here again if on a future trip to Budapest.

Good hotel except for these plastic mattress covers that cause you to wake up in a muck sweat in the middle of the night. What is the point of staying in a good hotel if you can't get a good nights sleep due to these plastic covers that cause you to sweat. I know why they have them but they need very thick mattress pads over them in order to to get a good nights sleep. Otherwise a good place although a little removed from the central district.

Had a great time in Budapest. Stayed for 4 nights. Hotel was located centrally and room was more than adequate. Staff not the most friendliest but practical I suppose. All the main attractions in walking distance, as were bars and places of interest. Planning on going back quite soon. Will stay again at the hotel. Suited me fine! Clean lines and enough space to feel comfortable. Free internet access in the lobby. Very useful. Breakfast ok, but a little expensive. Small gym available for use.

My first time in Budapest and was not sure what to expect. I had a good experience with the hotel stay. Very helpful staff with fairly good communication skill in English. They allowed me to do delayed check out. Good location.

This is a nice hotel in the center, close to all form of public transport. Very helpful staff.

The hotel was nice, firendly staff, large lobby, free internet, great resturant, comfortable bed, etc. In district 8, about a 20 min walk from the river (district 5)... about 100 yards from the Blaha metro station. Accross the street from a 24 hr, convenience store, ATM machine. Very easy and convenient to get to and from.

Clean hotel. The need more Internet terminals (only one for a large hotel). The location is not the best (too many beggers just outside the door).

The room was okay...pillows and bed were not very comfortable. The staff was not helpful at all! There was a desk for a concierge but there was never one there. Breakfast was very overpriced at 19.5 euro and you did not really find that out until after you ate. Also watch out for any service you get from the hotel. We did one load of laundry and it cost us over $125 USD!

All things considered, this is an excellent property with a friendly and curtious staff that dilligently met everyone of the needs of my entire family.

Vi tog ett superiorrum som var värt priset. Läget var högst uppe med en fin utsikt och vi hade en mysig fransk balkong, Rummet var bra men vi fick tjata med receptionen. De ville fakturera en extra "skatt" även rummet var redan betalt. Internet i lobbyn fungerade inte och personalen brydde sig inte det minsta även vi nämnde det till dem. Personalen var nonchalant även i ungerskt mått.

Ett riktigt bra hotell, speciellt med tanke på priset. Man får mycket för pengarna. Rummet var stort, fräscht och ovanligt välstädat. Modern inredning blandat med gammal stil, men på ett snyggt sätt. Rent och snyggt och inbjudande. Rätt så bra läge, nära en tunnelbanestation och precis vid vägen, men utan de störiga billjuden från gatan pga av dubbla fönster. Bra service. Ingen väntan vid in- och utcheckning och jag kände mig sedd som gäst. Bra frukostbuffé med mycket att välja mellan. Ett hotell att känna sig trygg på och skönt att komma "hem" till efter en lång och innehållsrik dag på stan. Rekommenderas!

Nyare hotell med bra standard, fräscht och fint. Imponerad av standarden på hotellet. Centralt på Pest sidan, precis brevid "ringleden" med spårvagnar.

Ottima accoglienza , bella camera , posizionato bene per visitare la citta' . L'unico modo di posteggiare l'auto e' nel garage da cui pero' si puo' accedere direttamente in hotel

Hög standard och stora fräsha rum

Hotellet var ett rent og pent hotell med go standard. Meget barnevennlig som i og for seg Budapest også er. Hotellet ligger ikke mer enn 100m fra metro stasjon og buss stopper på utsiden. Tbanen er rett rundt hjørnet den også, så meget sentrumsnært selv om det ikke ligger midt i sentrum.

Excellent hôtel, mais il faut faire attention à la facturation lors du check-out, ils ont tendance à surfacturer... à part, c'est excellent.

Bel immeuble bien entretenu - belle salle de restaurant - malgré un certain éloignement du centre historique, accès très facile et pratique par le métro (station à 100 m) ; j'y retournerai volontiers, d'autant que les prix exprimés en euros sont très abordables...

Vi var litt redd for at hotellet lå litt langt unna sentrum da det var ca 2 km til Elisabeth-broen, men det viste seg at nedgangen til nærmeste undergrunnsstasjon lå kun et gatehjørne unna. Banene kommer med maks 4 minutters mellomrom og er veldig praktiske å benytte. Hotellet var flott med super service til alle døgnets tider. Mulighet for å ha med 2 barn under 16 år gratis på dobbeltrom er enestående. Eneste minus må være at frokosten er forholdsvis dyr, men den er jo valgfri... Mulig den er verdt prisen. Det var i alle fall hotellet.

Ett hotell med bra service och läge. Lätt att ta sig dit och därifrån. Hjälpsam personal. Enligt barnen en fantastiskt god frukost. Den var betydligt större än vad jag förväntat mig.

Det eneste minuset var i grunnen beliggenheten,- ca 25 min. å gå til Donau

Boede på dobbeltværelse i fire døgn for at se Formel 1 2009 på Hungaroring. Hotellet har en glimrende beliggenhed knap 50 meter fra Blaha Lujza ter, og med de dobbelte termovinduer forsvinder gadelarmen totalt på værelset. Servicen var i orden, personalet var venligt og hjælpsomt, standarden på værelset udmærket, og der var rent og nydeligt overalt.

fantastisk utgagnspunkt når du først skal besøke Budapest, bare en skuffelse var en avgift lokalt på ca 50 kr som ikke var varslet da alle avgifter var bedyret betalt ved visatransaksjonen

Fint hotell med sentrumsnær beliggenhet. Hyggelig personale som snakket godt engelsk og i resepsjonen fikk vi gode tips ang transport, serverdigheter etc. Overveldende forkostbuffet ga en god start på dagen! Vi er en familie på 4 som delte et rom, det var greie ekstrasenger til barna. Anbefales!

Godt hotel med god service.

Hotellet i sig självt är fräscht och rummen är helt ok, kanske mattorna på rummet dock behövt en rengöring. Trots att hotellet ligger in till en väl trafikerad gata så hörs det inte mycket in på rummet (bodde på tredje våningen dock). Det som vi var mindre nöjda med dock är att då vi checkade in ombads att ge dom ett kreditkort för extra säkerhet (detta trots att rummet var betalt). Tyckte dock att detta var ok och gav dom ett av mina kort (dock ej kreditkort). När jag sedan nästa dag behövde göra en betalning på internet såg jag att hotellet dragit runt 200 Euros!!!! Detta gjorde man utan att informera om det, vilket jag tycker är fräckt. Påpekade detta till receptionen då de försvarade sig med att pengarna bara var reserverade och inte dragna. Detta kan så vara fallet, men pengarna är ej tillgängliga för mig. Att sedan sätta tillbaka pengarna efter vi checkat ut skulle ta mellan 5-10 dagar, dålig stil! Att man ej heller inkluderar frukost i priset är lite tråkigt med, eller att det ej heller finns som tillval när man bokar hotellet. Att köpa frukosten på hotellet kostar 17 euro p/p vilket inte frukosten är värd, trots trevlig miljö på frukost serveringen.

Uitstekend hotel met goede service. Heel plezierig is de aangrenzende parkeergarage met doorgang naar het hotel. Prachtig klasieke inrichting met modern comfort en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Fitness en zwembad zijn klein (geen gebruik van gemaakt). Nette, ruime kamer met koffie voorziening, (dure) minibar en goedwerkende airconditioning.

Ny-renovert hotell i gangavstand fra sentrums. Bra service, taxi, buss og bane ved hotellet. Aktivitetstilbud og massasje.

Hotel assolutamente di alto livello, personale cortese, servizio e pulizia perfetto. Assolutamente consigliato.

Vi hadde et flott opphold på Novotel Hotel Sentrum. Hotelet har en fin beliggenhet med god tilgjengelighet til alle offentlige transportmidler. Den beste frukost vi har spist på lenge, variert, god, delikat servert i en nydelig spisesal. Vakker lobby og delikate rom. Det eneste som trekker ned er air-conidition eller mangel på sådan.

Il nostro {Due adulti e due bambini} soggiorno presso Novotel Centrum e' stato fantastico. Hotel molto bello, servizio cortesee sempre presente. Stanze grandi e pulitissime con tutti i confort. Utilizzo gratuito di Jacuzzi sauna e palestra. Hotel in zona centralissima a 50 metri dalla fermata della metro da dove si puo' raggiungere velocemente tutta la citta. SUPER CONSIGLIATO !!!!!! Very very very good Hotel !

Nice room in an old fashionable hotel. In the city centrum, at 30 minutes from the airport. If you are not in Budapest for leisure, it is the perfect hotel. If you are there for leisure, I suggest you to look for an alternative in the pedestrian area of Vaci Utca. You will smell the real atmosphere of Budapest

Ordentliches Hotel, allerdings kleine Zimmer, wenn man nicht Executive Room bucht. Internetanbindung unverschämt teuer. Eine Stunde kostet. 990 HUF.

Pas de personnel parlant français. Pas de room service à 2h du mat, alors que prévu être room-service 24h. Personnel pas souriant. Chambre pas rangée ni nettoyée tous les jours. Pas de changement de linge, alors que demandé.

A really nice hotel. Our hotelroom was really huge and delicate. (Double room). First impression when we entered the reseption was wow! The staff was really good in english. Nice restaurant (The best we visited in Budapest).Great bar. And only a short walk from the Metro (100 m). Walking distance to city centre (About 20 min). If you are about to visit Budapest, consider this hotel!
