Best Western Hotel Meteor Plaza - PRAHA

We had a great stay at Meteor Plaza. Our room was at the front of the hotel, overlooking the road, but most of the rooms overlook the courtyard at the back. It was noisy at night with the window open, but with window closed and air-con on it was quiet and fresh! The room was a little 'tired' ,- carpets a bit stained etc, but comfy and clean. The location is fab, right by the powder gate, everything within easy walk and 20 steps to the municipal cafe, lovely art deco bar. Breakfast was a bit random, but all in all recommended. the hotel is very close to metro namesti republicki, get bus 119 from airport to metro, took 30 mins!

I am really impressed with the Best Western Meteor Plaza in Prague. The location of the hotel is excellent, just minutes of walk from all the important venues in the city center. The staff is very friendly and really helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I found the free WIFI a little slow, but for emailing and basic browsing it is OK. I would recommend this hotel for business travel as well as city breaks and even longer stay.

Easy walk to all of the sites. Good Breakfast. Clean room. Courteous staff.

Ok, the elevator is only big enough for your little brother... And you still need to take a few steps.. By the hotel is in a great location, convient to everything.. And the hotel staff is on point.. I highly recommend this place.

This hotel located at a convenient location where you can take metro and tram just a min walking. Bedroom is ok with ensuite bathroom. The only thing is the breakfast.

Great hotel situated very close to the old town. Staff friendly and couldn't do enough for us!

Would definitely stay again. Very good location, smallish hotel (without the quirks) but with large hotel feel. Friendly, helpful staff, adequate breakfast, REALLY warm room. Easy walking distance to Old Town Square, shops and metro. Only disappointment was the refusal (with a need to return after three nights) to refund the fourth night with four nights pre-booked. Apparently 24 hours notice required. NOT always possible! Stay again? Yes.

Hotel was lovely. Room very comfortable, very clean. Breakfast was simple but adequate. excellent location for city centre. People in prague, in shops, restaurants etc generally not very friendly, some very unpleasant. Staff in this hotel were polite and helpful at all times.

This hotel was an excellent choice! We travelled to Prague as a group of 6 friends and had 3 rooms. The hotel, rooms and breakfast restaurant were kept very clean. The rooms weren't massive but were plenty big enough for us. The bathrooms were very modern and, again, very clean. There was a wide choice in the buffet for breakfast, which was included in the price of the hotel and was available from 7am - 10am. Upon arrival we were each given a free drink voucher for use in the wine cellar restaurant, which was very nice and atmospheric. The people at reception were extremely helpful in recommending local restaurants and finding out information on tourist attractions. The hotel is in a quiet but brilliant location situated very close to the Powder Gate, and 5 minutes walk from the Old Town Square. Overall, this hotel was excellent as well as being good value for money. Would definitely go back to this hotel if I was in Prague.

This Hotel is ideally situated for all the sights of Prague - within walking distance of all attractions. The staff were more than pleasant and very helpful about all sorts of matters. The food in the Hotel was very special as was most of the eating establishments in the area. Housekeeping was also of the highest order.

What a fantastic hotel. One street away from where the bus drops you off from the airport (120 CK only - one way). The free drink voucher was an unexpected surprise upon arrival, and we were glad to make use of the wine restaurant downstairs for a lovely dessert and drink on the first night. Only complaint would be the over eager staff at the well stocked and tasty breakfast buffet. No sooner had you finished a plate when the staff removed it they must have wanted to give the kitchen staff more dishes to clean! A great hotel, would definitely return on another trip to Prague.

I was very pleased with this hotel in every way. It was close to Old Town and all other sights in Prague. I had a beautiful room that was quiet and comfortable. The room had a coffee maker and provided plenty supplies for coffee and tea which I enjoyed. The breakfast buffet had everything anyone could want. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning on staying in Prague as it helped make my stay very enjoyable in this wonderful city.

Very new and clean rooms with all the necessitites, but the basic rooms are a bit small, but a fair value. To me it's all about a fair value, clean room, and great location. This hotel was perfect on all counts. Additionally, it had all the necessities, such as included breakfast, fittness center (although they charge $15 an hour to use it), in room items such as coffee maker, reasonably priced in room and good customer service. The only downside was that in room movies cost $20 USD.

Hotel was not in good shape and the service should have been much better, especially for the price.

The hotel is perfectly located just 3 minutes on foot from Vaclav's Square and 10 min from Old Town square... very good breakfast... however the overall condition of the hotel is bad, some renovation is required.. rooms are very dark - at least on the 4th floor where we were... and please be careful with the personnel reccomendations!!!

Helt OK hotell med bra läge till Gamla stan

Meget fint og centralt beliggende hotel. Vær opmærksom på at hotellet kan være overbooket. Det gør de bare uden at blinke. Hotellet er fint men uden parkering, din bil skal være låst inde eller ribbes den. Personalet er flinkt og venligt. der er restaurent men den er dyr. minibaren er alt for dyr. køb drikkevarerne overfor

fantasisk til prisen, ligger i gå afstand til det hele samt sporvogne lige om hjørnet.

Zimmer sehr gut mit Klimaanlage Service freundlich, gut und mehrsprachig Frühstück weniger gut, da keine guten Materialien verwendet (Brot, etc.)

Stille og rolig hotel med lite støy fra trafikken utenfor. Sentralt og hyggelig.

Cet hotel est superbement placé, le service est tres correct, l'accueil a été particulièrement aimable et s'est avéré de bons conseils pour trouver des adresses de jazz et autres infos utiles

Remek szálloda a város szívében,egy apró észrevétel: a double roomban lehetne nagyobb az ágy!

Postivt: gratis trådløst nett på rommet og sentralt beliggende ift Gamlebyen Trekker ned: Måtte bære bagasjen en trapp opp (og ned igjen) pga halvetasjer. Litt for effektivt personale til frokost; ville ta maten på sidetallerken mens jeg holdt på å spise. En av de ansatte sto opptil veggen og fiklet med kjedet sitt hele tiden jeg var i frokostsalen. Så ikke en gang opp.

Et hyggeligt hotel med en ganske udmærket service. Hotellet har en pæn og ren stand. Morgenmaden er rimelig, men der er plads til forbedringer

Hotellet var sentralt plassert like ved det vakre "Folkets Hus" og bare noen minutter unna shopping og severdigheter. Det gikk raskt å sjekke inn og en pikkolo tok koffertene våre. Rent og pent overalt, og rommene var slik som avbildet på hjemmesiden. Størrelsen på rommene var ordinær, men gode store senger veide opp for det. Pent møblert, minibar, vannkoker og et fint bad. De ansatte var hyggelige og ordnet rommene hver dag. Små "pakker" med det damer trenger på reise fantes også på badet. Uteplassen i bakgården var dessverre ikke åpnet ennå, men der kunne vi gjerne tenke oss å sitte med en kopp kaffe i varmere tider!

I stayed just one night in this hotel. It is an old structure but it is perfect to reach the city centre in 3 minutes walk (just crossing the street you are in the pedestrian area)

Ligger bare et "steinkast" fra gamlebyen, men allikevel litt tilbaketrukket i en sidegate så man slipper det verste bråket fra trafikk og "natteranglere" Ikke noe stor fancy lobby, men hjemmekoselig og med en liten bar. Fin vinkjeller/restaurant i kjelleren. Helt grei frokostbufe.

Net hotel, op loopafstand van het oude stadsplein (Old Square) en Karelsbrug, ook op loopafstand van het metrostation Plein vd Republiek. Ontbijtservice vond ik matig. Opvallend was dat de bellboy een fooi in euro's eiste (en in mijn kamer bleef staan) toen ik te weinig losse kronen had.

Have stayed at this hotel several times, always a good experience! Nearby to the Powdertower, Republic Place and the city center. Perfect location! Near to bus, tram and metro that bring you everywhere in prague. The staff is nice and friendly. Perfect hotel if you want a undisturbed and silent stay. Ecxelent breakfast buffet!

L'hotel è situato in una posizione strategica, in pratica a circa 100 metri dalla Torre delle Polveri, dall'Opera Nazionale e dalla Fermata Nam. Republiky della Metro B. Le immagini e le indicazioni fornite da hotels.com corrispondono alla realtà. Le stanze sono confortevoli, spaziose, luminose, dotate di cassaforte, tv, angolo per il thè e dotate di uno spazioso bagno. La colazione internazionale offre una scelta variegata di pietanze sia dolci che salate: non si può sicuramente restare a digiuno!!! Nonostante la posizione centrale, la tranquillità è garantita sia di giorno che di notte. Il personale, pur non parlando perfettamente l'italiano, è molto disponibile e cordiale. In sintesi consiglio vivamente questo hotel che vi permetterà di godere dei servizi di un 4 stelle ad un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo e di girare per Praga senza necessità d utilizzare i mezzi pubblici, a patto che amiate passeggiare!!!

Godt hotel i centrum.

I forhold til andre hoteller vi har boet på i Prag har dette en stjerne for meget set ud fra det hotellet har at byde på. Det burde have tre stjerner og der med ligge i en lidt billigere kategori

Eine in allen Punkten positive Erfahrung. Äußerst freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal, saubere ruhige Zimmer mit sehr guter Ausstattung und mitten in der Innenstast gelegen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

grazioso ma soprattutto centralissimo: è a due passi da tutte le attrazioni principali. inoltre il personale tendenzialmente parla anche n poco di italiano!

Postiv: Sehr gute Lage, praktisch alle interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten können zu Fuss erreicht werden. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich gross und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Zimmer wird auch noch Nachmittags gemacht. Frühstücksbuffet mit sehr grosser Auswahl und freundlichem und aufmerksamem Personal (fast zu aufmerksam, man muss schauen das einem der Teller nicht abgeräumt wird während man sich etwas vom Buffet holt) Negativ: Für ein 4-Stern-Hotel etwas zu viele Gebrauchsspuren im Zimmer.
